PRIVACY
What Keel keeps.
And how to have it removed.
Keel is made and run by Tyler Vigario and Shawn Clarkson, on a server of their own. This is what it keeps about you, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed. In effect from October 18, 2026.
If you ask for an invitation
Your name, your email address and your note, so Tyler and Shawn can answer you; they’re emailed a copy. It’s kept until you join or they decline, and then it’s gone. Keel sends nothing to the address you give: anyone could type anyone’s.
Your account
Your name and email address, and your password, kept only as a hash that can’t be turned back into it. For each device you’re logged in on, a session, with that device’s IP address and browser, so it can be ended. A wrong password is counted by the address it came from, in the server’s memory, for fifteen minutes.
What you add
Whatever you fill in on Edit profile: a preferred name, birthday, phone, country, city, occupation, a few words about you, and a photo. Your time zone, language, clock and first day of the week, your theme, the apps you connect, and which intros you’ve seen. Each is yours to change or clear.
In your browser
The entries you add to your timeline stay in your browser alone, for now, until they move to your account, and so does which holiday scenes you’ve watched. A cookie keeps you logged in, and two more remember your choices of motion and contrast, if you make them.
Ask Keel
What you say to Ask Keel is kept in the server’s memory for the day, and forgotten when it restarts. Once Ask Keel is connected to a model, what you say is sent to the company that makes that model, to be answered. Until then, it says it’s a preview.
Help & Support
What you write there, with the name and address you give, is emailed to Tyler and Shawn so they can answer you, and kept nowhere else.
Keel emails you only about your account: an invitation, a link to choose a new password, and a note when your password changes.
What Keel never does
No advertising, no analytics and no trackers: every page loads from Keel alone. Nothing about you is sold. Keel follows no one from site to site, so there’s nothing for a browser’s Do Not Track to turn off.
Who sees it
Tyler and Shawn, who run Keel. The server’s logs record each request, with the address it came from. Your email passes through the mail relay that delivers it and, once Ask Keel is connected, what you say to it passes to that model’s maker. No one else.
Removing it
Delete account, on Profile, removes your account and everything kept with it at once, and clears what this browser kept. To see, correct or remove anything else, write to keel@vigario.tech.
Children
Keel isn’t for anyone under 13.
When this changes
The date at the top changes with it, and a change to what Keel keeps is told to everyone with an account before it applies.
